Lucky Dogs is currently searching for a "Dog Walking Enthusiast" to join our team in Hivange, Luxembourg. We are passionate about dogs and their care at Lucky Dogs and seek individuals who share our passion for animals and dogs in particular. Our mission at Lucky Dogs is to build a space that both our 2-legged and 4-legged clients think of as an extension of their home environment. So, being dog-centric and passionate about dogs is a must. Successful candidates will be those who share our dog-centric mission and values.

Job Description:

You will drive our company van to the homes of our dog walking clients to take their dogs on an extended nature walk in a group before returning them to their homes. Your typical day and responsibilities will include:

 

• arriving at our location in Hivange

• collecting the client list and client keys for that day

• preparing the van for the dog group that you will walk that day (treats, water, etc.)

• loading the van with any dog food ordered by dog walking clients

• driving to each client’s home to collect their dog(s)

• driving the group of dogs to a secluded and/or wooded location

• taking the dogs in a group on an extended nature walk of 60-75 minutes

• returning to each client’s home to drop off their dog(s)

• dropping off any dog food ordered by a specific dog walking client at dog drop-off

• returning to Hivange to drop off and clean the van

 

This is an hourly position and generally starts in the mid-morning and ends in the mid-afternoon. Typical working hours will be ~25 hours per week. However, there will be opportunities to expand working hours to a full 40 hour week as the business demand grows over the Spring and Summer.

Language Requirements:

• French (fluent)

• English (moderate)

• Other languages are a plus (particularly Luxembourgish)

Other Information:

Candidates possessing certifications in Pet First Aid/CPR and/or dog behavioral training will have an advantage. However, we will provide regular training to our employees (of all levels of experience) to continually improve and enhance their skills in these areas. A willingness to learn and grow are important to your success at Lucky Dogs.
